Gourdon :

(5,000 inhabitants) has a medieval centre (medieval feast in the summer), shops of all kinds and numerous restaurants, as well as a typical country market, a cinema, post-office and a hospital. Nearby towns are Domme (20 km), Sarlat-la-canéda (25 km), Rocamadour and Cahors (both 40 km).

Activities in the locality that we can recommended are :

Hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, numerous chateaus to visit, museums and prehistoric caves. Also canoeing, kayaking or boating on the rivers Dordogne and Lot as well as quad biking, golf and hot air ballooning, fishing, accro-branche ....

 
This holiday home has underground heating and is open all year round It can be rented during the low season by the night or for a week-end only. Well-behaved pets are accepted.
